I gave this presentation at the 2004 EDMEDIA when I was still evolving my dissertation. It represents some of my early thinking about the topic of making digital media accessible to educators.

This is a paper I wrote for a doctoral class on Human Interaction, one of my research interests. I have found that media-rich software can be critiqued similarly to a play or film, and that is the approach i took here.

When I began working with computer based training in the early 80s, it was not even possible to implement graphics. What a thrill it has been to see the technological advances enabling media-rich education. You can imagine how excited I was when I learned about Internet2!
